Reservations / Cancellations: How do I cancel or change my booking?
To cancel or modify your booking, follow the steps according to your initial booking method:

1. Booked on our website: - You can cancel or amend your booking directly on our website using the link contained in your confirmation email.

2. Booked via another platform (Booking, Expedia, etc.): - Follow the procedure indicated by the booking platform or contact their customer service to make the necessary changes.

3. Booked directly with the establishment: - Call or email the reception of the hotel or aparthotel in question. Contact information is available on the relevant property’s page.

It is important to respect the amendment and cancellation deadlines specified in the pricing conditions for your booking. These conditions are also available in the T&Cs section.
During your stay: I think I’m going to be arriving outside the indicated times. Will I be able to check in?

Reservations / Cancellations: What is pre-authorisation?
A pre-authorisation is a bank transaction that we use to check that your credit card is valid and guarantee your booking. During this transaction, a specific amount is temporarily reserved in your account, reducing your available credit without any money being debited.

These funds are reserved for a period determined by your bank, often from 7 to 14 days. If you cancel your booking or pay by another means, the pre-authorisation expires and the funds become available again. Pre-authorisation is used to cover any additional costs during your stay, such as room service or damage.

When you check out, the actual costs are charged and the pre-authorisation is either waived or converted into a payment depending on the amount due. This ensures that the necessary funds will be available without immediate withdrawal.
Reservations / Cancellations: Is there a tourist tax?
Yes, a tourist tax is applicable. This tax is collected by the local government and is payable on arrival at the hotel or aparthotel. The exact amount of the tourist tax will be displayed on the “Summary” page before you confirm your booking. This tax is not included in the room rate.
